Chicago tickets

It’s shameless, got a whole lot of sass, and bloody murder, it’s smart, and is all bloodshed and mayhem!

It’s the world’s most jazzy musical — the one that has had an uninterrupted five decade run on Broadway, the musical that sent the world down a deliciously murderous rabbit hole with its intrigue, sassiness, legendary choreography, earworm kind of music, murder, and mayhem; this spring the merry murderesses Roxie Hart, Velma Kelly, and the world’s favorite lawyer, Billy Flynn will be coming to that theatre just down the road from you!

Pittsburgh, brace yourselves for a whole lot of ritziness and raunchiness, because Broadway’s second-longest running musical, Chicago, is coming to the Benedum Center on Thursday 12th March 2026, and there is a seat with your name on it!

Tickets are selling from only $252 and are moving fast, so make sure to click on the ‘Get Tickets’ button right now to scoop up your tickets before they’re all sold out!

The legendary production is coming to Pittsburgh this March, at the breathtaking Benedum Center. Headlined by Ariana Madix, and accompanied by Kimberly Marable as Velma Kelly and Max von Essen as Billy Flynn, among others. Tickets for this Thursday 12th March 2026 performance start at $252.

The musical

Globally celebrated for its signature jazz-influenced theme, electrifying choreography, and minimalist staging style which reflects the spirit of vaudeville, the musical boldly criticizes the obsession with celebrity culture.

The reinvented musical set in the Roaring Twenties, featuring music by John Kander, lyrics by Fred Ebb, and a book by Ebb and Bob Fosse, centers around the themes of corruption, crime, and the pursuit of fame. After being debuted on Broadway in 1975, the musical has received an enormous amount of positive and negative criticism, mainly for its challenging message, and cultural impact.

The story

Similar to Michael Corleone from The Godfather who phased from an idealistic role to a ruthless and cunning leader, Chicago is a journey through the stages one goes through to satisfy one's hunger for fame and fortune.

The show showcases how even crime can be a means for fame, highlighting the imperfection in the justice system. The musical portrays how individuals shape themselves, and their identities to reach their ultimate personal goal. The performance became groundbreaking previously for redefining the crime game and introducing new roles of "women" to the genre. The 1996 Broadway production maintained the record as the second-longest-running American musical in Broadway history.

Chicago strives to showcase the hollowness of fame, and the paradox between good deeds and status, that not all famous people are successful in the sense of morality. The show portrays various individuals each acting for their personal interest, and how they intersect with each other's lives, through different perspectives.

The awards

The musical has earned several awards including the Tony Awards (1997), Drama Desk Awards (1997), Grammy Awards (1998), Academy Awards (2003), Golden Globe Awards (2003), BAFTA Awards (2003), and many others.
