Peter Frampton at Benedum Center

British-American rock singer, songwriter, producer, and guitarist Peter Frampton's first introduction to fame was as a child star in the 1960s, before he became the lead singer of psychedelic rock band The Herd in 1966 (also becoming a teen heartthrob in the process). Three years later, he joined with Steve Marriott of Small Faces to form the rock band Humble Pie, with whom he released four studio albums and one live album. In 1972, Frampton embarked upon a solo career and that year released his debut album Winds of Change. His big break as a solo artist came with the release of his 1976 live album Frampton Comes Alive!, which sold eight million copies and launched three hit singles. Frampton's success has continued over the years as he has grown as a classic rock icon, charting hits like "Breaking All the Rules", "Show Me the Way", "Baby, I Love Your Way", "Do You Feel Like We Do", and "I'm in You". To date, he has released twenty albums as a solo artist.
