“They're calling him the future of blues, but they're wrong – Joe Bonamassa is the present; so fresh and of his time that he almost defines it." – Classic Rock Magazine

“Bonamassa is the Barometer of just how far a Blues Rock Artist can go.” – Get Ready To RockJoe Bonamassa at Benedum Center

Joe Bonamassa is an American virtuoso blues guitarist. Bonamassa was a child prodigy, beginning to teach himself guitar aged only 4 years old. He began regularly gigging around Pennsylvania and New York aged 12 with “Rosie”, a crimson 1972 Fender Stratocaster gifted to him by his father. It was during this time that the young sensation was asked to open 20 shows for blues legend BB King, and by the time he reached adulthood, he had already shared a stage with many of his heroes and musical influences. Now 38, Bonamassa has had a successful career, with all 5 of his solo studio albums reaching the top 10 on the Billboard Blues Chart, and 3 of them making No. 1, as well as his collaborative work with Beth Hart, SeaSaw, earning him a Grammy Award nomination.
